Music Evaluation
The CCFm Music Departments main objective is to ensure that all music to be aired is of the highest standard. We receive new music on a daily basis from independent artists and record labels as well as our long standing local Distributors who outsource the best in international Christian contemporary music to our local radio station.
Once an album is received a procedure of evaluation follows.
The evaluation process could take up to 4 weeks and the decision is made based on the following guidelines:
- Grammar
- Accent
- Quality of lyrics
- Relevance of lyrics
- Quality of vocals
- Quality of Recording
- CCFm’s Mission
- Relevance of music
- Quality of production
- Presentation
- Broadcast Quality
Please note that the evaluation panel determines the outcome and their decision is final.
If your CD is rejected please do not take it as CCFm is rejecting you or your ministry but that the material does not meet the above mentioned criteria.
