What Year did you begin at Radio CCFm?

What did you want to be when you were little?

A business woman

What is your dream?
To be in a position of influence to empower disadvantaged women
and children (in terms of resources and information) specifically in education and business

Whom has influenced you most?
I have learnt a lot from different people at different points in my life,
but there have been a number of consistent influences:
    - the first person would be my mother, her continuous motivation and tenacity has inspired
me to never slack on giving and striving to be the best I can be.
    - my spiritual mentor has been Dr Myles Munroe since the age of 12 till present, guiding
me in discovering my purpose, vision and shaping my character as a leader through
      his enlightening sermons and books.
    - my mentor, Anne Mayers, her incredible success journey has tugged at the heartstrings
of my heart. She continues to pour her pearls of wisdom into my life.
    - the late Ray Petersen, she taught me to love and give unconditionally

Why a presenter at CCFm?
I came to CCFm with the desire to serve God in a ministry. I was a librarian for 2 years, was on the roadcrew team, washed banners and edited music, before I even ventured into presenting. Therefore, presenting has never been my intention, but serving will always be the intent of my heart.  I deem it a privilege to serve at CCFm, as I believe in the vision of the ministry and I love music. Music is the most beautiful thing next to love!

Your greatest fear?

I had a big fear of failure , being an only child, but I have overcome through the Master's help

What makes you laugh?
I always find something to laugh about & to make others laugh about, so no specific thing....

What angers you?
When young ladies remain in destructive relationships that crush their self-esteem and underestimate their self-worth.

What's the best piece of advice you've received?
Do not let your past and present circumstances dictate your attitude and response toward your present and your future...

Your Most embarrassing moment ?
I use to deliver the Cape Argus newspaper in my community when I was 12. On Guyfawkes Day, a group of kids cornered me and smeared my head full of white nugget (I wore my hair Diana Ross style, so you can imagine!) and they threw eggs on me. They kindly handed my newspapers back to me and I had to walk for about 20 humiliating minutes before I reached home.

Your biggest triumph?
Being the first in my family to attain a university degree

What is your favourite verse in the Bible and who is your favourite
Bible character? Jeremiah 29 vers11,12&13. "11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

My favourite peeps in the bible is Daniel....a man of true uncompromised character and a faithful steward. How awesome to be found 10 times more excellent than those around you and be blessed by God himself with knowledge, insight AND understanding in all kinds of literature!

What do you do when you are not behind/in front of the microphone at CCFM?
I teach grade 7 Maths at a primary school in the Steenberg community. I am a full time accountant. I grab a brush, sing along to awesome music at top volume and chill with friends.

What was the BEST moment of your life?
18 June 2000, the day I committed my life to Christ and found my reason worth living and dieing for.

Which season is your favourite, and why?
Autumn. It's the season of change and no pressure with the wardrobe! (ladies, I know you understand me)

Do you like the wind in Cape Town?
No, my poor hair!!!

What do you think about Cape Town's people?
Absolutely fantabulous, friendly and funtabulous people :)
