What do I have to be thankful for??
My health, strength and salvation....
My family....Future husband..and future in-laws...
And my job....
I feel so blessed today......

I am kinda sleepy today...
At my desk right now....Finished alot of work...Confirmed many interviews....Enquired about a possible summer gig....
Drank lots tea and now having my first cuppa coffee.....
Having a meeting soon, with potential content for HWB...
Life can be strange and exciting all at the same time..

HWB will be undergoing some changes....I am not really sure how I feel about the changes as yet...I suppose it will be for the betterment of the show, but still something doesnt' feel right....

Hello, Hello.... Feels like a life time since I wrote something..Not to fret, I have loads to tell you. Firstly, I must say it feels awesome to be back at work, after such a long stay at home...As you know: I suffered terribly under the worst bout of flu..Luckily not swine flu :)...But it was lank hectic!!! First laringitis..then sinusitis....WOW!!! But wait; thanx to Rob and JP for filling in for yours truly...Much love!!! Ok, so I'm back..What now??? Just be advised that change is coming..Thick and fast... So get ready...Come September 1....Change will be evident on HWB.... Hope you like it!!! To all the women: Know that you are special....Worthy...Highly favored...and awesome!! Your beauty is inside and out.... Your value is not measured by your qualifications but by GOD himself... Be blessed as we are celebrated throughout the month of August... HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin, Kisha..who lives in Auckland New Zealand..Wishing I could wish you in person....Hopefully soon!!! As I think back to Saturday, July 11, I am once again filled with such joy...I cannot help but smile.
This past Saturday, I was the mc at a church concert, held at Lentegeur Civic. The host church was Fountain of Life Tabernacle.
The evening was a huge success, with ministers of music being Shannon Owies, Lusanda Beja, Janine Kennedy, Charisma Hanekom, Chronicals and the band 'In The Groove'.Indeed the presence of GOD was tangible in the place.
GOD has brought an awesome group of people into my life and I feel so blessed.A word of thanks goes out to Pastoral couple, Michael and Lillian Basson, Reinhardt, Megan, Loren, Pedro, Conway, Jacky and many more. You all are so special to me..May GOD richly bless you all...
I can only but say I have grown to love each one of them...

What did you want to be when you were little?
I don't know...but I wanted a horse, to live in my room, when I was 4 years old...
What is your dream?
I would love to travel overseas as much as I can....because I love seeing and experiencing new places...
Whom has influenced you most?
Influenced..not sure...But the person who has inspired me the most...is my grandma...or rather my Ouma, as she was known. She persevered and overcame a life of abuse... she passed away on December 12, 2006 after a 3 year battle with Alzheimers...
Why a presenter at CCFM?
I went from the news dept...to presenting in one year...the previous presenter of Afternoon Kaleidoscope nominated me for the position...I love what I do..and I have certainly learnt alot...14Months have since passed and yet again I am blessed with another promotion: Presenter of HOMEWARD BOUND!! I am speechless (and that rarely happens)..I cannot explain my gratitude toward GOD for all HE has done..

Honestly, I am not sure...
What makes you laugh?
My significant other's clowning around...and jokes; He's really funny!!!!
What angers you?
The abuse and murder of innocent children...

Overcoming 3 serious illnesses in 3 years...

Favourite Bible character: David..he went from looking after sheep to king...
Fav verse: Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded (pierced) for our transgressions, he was bruised (crushed, punished) for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. "
What do you do when you are not behind/in front of the microphone at CCFM?
My favourite pass time in winter is reading. In summertime, it's swimming' I adore the water...Not forgetting my much loved lunch dates with my significant other & gal pals- we know of a few awesome restaurants within the City....:)...and shopping...of course...
I love winter....everything is allowed a resting period before being renewed in spring...
Do you like the wind in Cape Town?
Nope..not one bit! If I could choose I would move to a place where it snows in winter....I would love to have a white Christmas, just once!!! Or wait, maybe not just once:)
What do you think about Cape Town's people?
The people of the Mother City are friendly and warm...
They are interesting and funny...
