Why a presenter at CCFm?
Around 14 years ago Avril Thomas asked it I would like to present a radio show & I’ve been involved ever since. I am grateful for the opportunity of being able to share the love of God on CCFM with those who are lost & hurting. It is a privilege to see God do miracles & changing people’s lives for the good over the airwaves.
Your greatest fear?
Hell – It scares me to think that some will be turned away from the gates of heaven, by a God they claim to know, by a God who will declare “I never knew you, depart from me” (Matt 7)
What makes you laugh?
Funny movies & my 3 little boys - they bring joy to my heart.
What angers you?
Lazy negative people
What's the best piece of advice you've received?
Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.
Your most embarrassing moment?
Many years back on live Christian radio, I mentioned a story about a lady in the US on death row by the name of Carla Faye Tucker. I unfortunately mixed up my words & referred to her as Carla Taye F…
Your biggest triumph?
Being a child of God – knowing my life is in His hands
What is your favourite verse in the Bible and who is your favourite Bible character?
I have many but Jeremiah 17 v 5–10 stands out:
“This is what the Lord says ‘Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans & turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, on the salty flats where no one lives. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope & confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, & they go right on producing delicious fruit.’ ”

What was the BEST moment of your life?
God blessing me with a wonderful family: my beautiful wife, Janet & our 3 precious sons: Daniel, Joshua & Elijah.
Which season is your favourite, and why?
Summer: I love getting up in the light. I love the warm sunny days. I wish it where summer all year round.
Do you like the wind in Cape Town?
No, definitely not. Cape Town would definitely be one of the best places on the planet without the South Easter. The only wind I dream of seeing in Cape Town is a gale force wind of the Holy Spirit sweeping our city.
